AccorHotels has opened its fourth hotel in Heilongjiang – China’s northernmost province.
The new Novotel Daqing Haofang has become the company’s first property in the city of Daqing, which is known as the “oil capital of China”. It also becomes the first Novotel in Heilongjiang and the fourth AccorHotels property in the province, joining a Sofitel and two ibis hotels in the cities of Harbin and Qiqihar.
“We’re excited about the opening of our first Novotel hotel in Heilongjiang province,” said Michel Molliet, AccorHotels’ chief operating officer for Greater China. “The opening of Novotel Daqing Haofang enriches AccorHotels’ brand portfolio in Northern China and reinforces our continuous growth in Greater China.”
Novotel Daqing Haofang is located in the city’s East Central Business District, 30 minutes’ drive from Daqing Saertu Airport, which offers direct flights to cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
The hotel offers 280 rooms and suites, two restaurants, a gym, indoor pool, spa, beauty salon and more than 2,150m² of function space including a grand ballroom.
AccorHotels now operates more than 170 properties across Greater China, offering in excess of 41,000 rooms.
