AccorHotels has opened its first Mercure-branded hotel in Wuhan.
The new Mercure Wuhan Changqing Park is a 251-room property located in the city’s Jianghan district, 15 minutes’ drive from Wuhan’s Tianhe International Airport.
All rooms offer floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the city, and there is also a selection of family-style apartments. Hotel facilities include a restaurant, lobby lounge and function space for up to 110 guests.
“We are excited to introduce the Mercure brand in Wuhan, the most populous city in Central China,” said Paul Richardson, AccorHotels’ chief operating officer for Greater China.
“The opening of Mercure Wuhan Changqing Park strengthens AccorHotels’ commitment in the country to growing the Mercure brand, which combines international service standards with a local charm.”
The new hotel becomes the eighth Mercure operating in Greater China, and AccorHotels’ fourth property in the city following the Novotel Wuhan Xinhua, ibis Wuhan Hankou and ibis Wuhan Optic Valley.
