AccorHotels has expanded its portfolio in Phuket with the launch of a new luxury resort set back from the beach, in the hills overlooking the Andaman Sea.
The new Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong MGallery by Sofitel is located close to the Patong, the main tourist area of the island, providing an alternative to the company’s collection of beach resorts.
Designed in the style of a Thai village, the hotel features 150 rooms and suites, three themed swimming pools, a kids’ club, games room, mini-golf, a golf simulator, spa, fitness centre, library, business centre and three meeting rooms.
In terms of F&B there is an all-day restaurant and rooftop steakhouse and bar.
The new resort becomes the first MGallery property in Phuket and the brand’s seventh location in Thailand, following existing hotels in Bangkok, Pattaya, Chiang Mai and Hua Hin.
