ADAC charts out program for World Routes

The Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) has introduced the programme for the World Route Development Strategy Summit, the conference to be held alongside the 18th World Route Development Forum (World Routes).
The conference takes place on September 30th and October 1st at Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC), attracting key international and regional aviation experts to discuss current opportunities and challenges in the aviation industry globally.
The summit titled, ‘Uniting Air Transport Stakeholders to Drive Future Aviation Strategy’ will tackle key topics such as taxation, rising oil prices, aeropolitics, environmental factors, sustainable route development, economic development, and general regional perspectives on aviation and industry growth.
James E Bennett, chief executive officer of ADAC said: “Alongside meetings and networking opportunities, the Strategy Summit will provide a platform for aviation specialists from around the globe to discuss current and future opportunities and challenges on an international, regional and local scale.”
The Conference speakers’ list includes people such as Jeff Poole, Director of Government and Industry Affairs at IATA; Tan Sri Bashir Ahmad, Managing Director of Malaysia Airports Holding Berhad; Abdul Wahab Teffaha, Secretary General of Arab Air Carriers Organisation; Prashant Sukul, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation of the Government of India; Mary Veronica Tovsak Pleterski, Director for European and International Carbon Markets, DG for Climate Action of the European Commission; and Olivier Jankovec, Director General, ACI Europe.
