The Abu Dhabi Air Expo is all set to open tomorrow at the Al Bateen Executive Airport. The event is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, national security advisor, and vice chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
The three-day event will witness participation from over 17,000 visitors and an exhibitor line-up of 175 companies. The Expo will bring together owners, pilots, fixed-based operators and aviation professionals from more than 70 countries, including Canada, USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Korea, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Jordan.
One of the highlights of the event is the opportunity to experience the ‘Paper Planes’ Art Exhibition by HH Sheikha Al Yazia Bint Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan at the Gulf Centre for Aviation Studies (GCAS) facility in Al Bateen Executive Airport.
HE Ali Majed Al Mansoori, chairman of Abu Dhabi Airports said: “The opportunities the show will present create an unprecedented platform for industry experts to engage and discuss developments in the field.”
More than 100 aircraft will be on display from aviation manufacturers including Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, two Boeing aircraft, Gulfstream, Cessna, Piper Aircraft, Cirrus Aircraft, and five Airbus aircraft.
