Aeromexico started flights between Heathrow and Mexico City at the weekend.
The SkyTeam member is now flying three times a week from Terminal 4 with connections into the US, Canada, central and south America.
A Boeing 787 Dreamliner is to be used on the route next year when received by the airline.
“Our new flight to Heathrow is a great achievement for Aeromexico and represents clear evidence of the development of the Mexican airline industry. We are confident that our operations will have a significant positive effect for both economies and will strength our financial and cultural relationship,” said Andres Conesa, CEO of Aeromexico.
