Air Parade sold holidays to Portugal (Lisbon pictured) and Spain

Travel agents have been advised to hold onto customer payments for Air Parade bookings after the company collapsed on Wednesday (14 May).

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has instructed agents to keep payments on behalf of trustees of the Air Travel Trust (ATT) until otherwise directed and should only offer a refund when directed to do so by the ATT.

Air Parade Ltd ceased trading as Luxury Villa Escapes and Villa Parade on Wednesday.

The Huddersfield-based firm mainly sold package holidays to Spain and Portugal.

Accommodation only bookings under the company are not covered by the ATOL scheme, with those affected instructed to contact ABTA.
