Ahmedabad airport has registered a 13% growth in international passengers for February 2014.
According to data revealed by Airports Authority of India (AAI), the city received 92,836 international fliers in February 2014, as compared to 81,978 in February 2013.
“In terms of international passenger movement, the numbers of fliers flowing out of the country were higher than those flowing in. The movement was majorly on Middle East destinations. Also, it is due to the increased movement of flights that spurred the growth,” an AAI official was quoted as saying in Times of India.
