Kazakhstan’s national carrier will ramp up the frequency of its flights to London this summer.
Air Astana has confirmed that, effective June 2017, it will launch a fifth weekly flight from Astana, the Kazakh capital, to London’s Heathrow Airport. The new Sunday service will complement the existing flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The flight will be operated using a Boeing 757 aircraft (pictured) equipped with 16 seats in business class and 108 in economy. It also features an “Economy Sleeper” concept, which enables passengers to stretch out on a set of three economy class seats.
Passengers are also able to connect to several cities across Kazakhstan, plus international destinations including Bishkek, Urumqi, Tbilisi, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg.
