Air France said it will operate 85% of its full flight schedule today, as a strike by cabin crew rumbles on. The national carrier was able to operated 87% and 88% of scheduled flights on Saturday and Sunday respectively, but the situation deteriorated today.
Air France said in a statement that it “does not understand the reasons for the strike”. The action is taken in protest against expected job losses, but Air France said it is continuing to recruit rather than retrench flight attendants.
It added that some last-minute flight cancellations are possible.
