Air India achieves 99.58% schedule integrity

Air India (AI) and Air India Express (AIE) have achieved scheduled integrity of 99.58% and 99.18% respectively during the winter schedule. 
In addition, both AI and AIE have achieved On Time Performance (OTP) of more than 76.10% and 91% respectively. This result was due to several steps being taken such as close monitoring, optimization of schedules, frequent feedback, making contingency arrangements etc. which were initiated during the winter scheduled that started from 28 October 2012.
The Minister of State for Civil Aviation, K C Venugopal informed the Rajya Sabha that no AI or AIE flights from Kerala to Middle East were cancelled from January 2013 to 10 March 2013. In case of delays or cancellations, passengers are informed in advance and those passengers reaching the airport are attended as per the prescribed norms.
