Air India has launched a new daily service to Surat, more than doubling its capacity on the route.
The new evening flight departs Delhi‘s Indira Gandhi International Airport daily at 1755, and arrives at Surat Airport at 1935. The return service then leaves the Gujarati city at 2025 and gets back to Delhi at 2205.
The new flight complements Air India’s existing 0740 departure from Delhi, and the 0950 return service from Surat. This flight operates six times a week (every day except Thursday), so the new service takes the total frequency of the route to 13 flights per week.
Surat is one of four Gujarati cities served by Air India, along with Ahmedabad, Jamnagar and Rajkot.
