Air India has recently launched flight services to connecting Pune and Bhopal via Raipur from 23 May 2016.
The flight will operate thrice a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with a 70 seater ATR72-600 aircraft. Flight AI 9865 will leave Bhopal at 0845, stop in Raipur during 1015 to 1045, and arrive in Pune at 1300. The airline said that this is the first time they offered a direct air link on this route.
“The new flight will save travelling time for passengers commuting to regions like Raipur and Pune from Bhopal. The 100% occupancy on the first flight is a testimony of demand for such flights to push regional connectivity,” said home minister of Madhya Pradesh, Babulal Gaur, who inaugurated the flight.
