Air India’s ‘eSuperSaver’ fare scheme will be expanded to include economy class travel next month.
The initiative was originally launched for business class travellers, but from 1 November economy class passengers will be able to purchase eSuperSaver fares for domestic travel in India.
Applicable for solo travellers, the eSuperSaver scheme has two variants – one for travel on sectors up to 750km and another for all domestic sectors, irrespective of distance. Each variant offers three booklets of four, eight and 12 flight coupons.
For the option on routes up to 750km, travellers can purchase a four-coupon booklet for INR18,000 (US$277), an eight-coupon booklet for INR34,000 and a 12-coupon booklet for INR48,000, inclusive of all surcharges and fees. Passengers booking these coupons are offered 25kg of baggage allowance per flight.
For all domestic sectors irrespective of the distance, the four-coupon booklet is priced at INR24,000, the eight-coupon booklet at INR46,000 and the 12-coupon booklet at INR66,000.
The eSuperSaver tickets are only bookable via airindia.in.
