Air India has entered a new partnership that will provide its passengers with one-stop connections to Taipei.
Under the new codeshare agreement with EVA Air, which gets underway on 1 December 2016, travellers will be able to fly with Air India from Mumbai to Singapore or Bangkok, and then onwards to Taipei with EVA on a same ticket, with their baggage checked through to the final destination.
EVA offers 24 weekly flights to Bangkok and 14 to Singapore, while Air India operates daily flights from both Southeast Asian cities to Mumbai.
Air India does not currently fly to Taiwan, but EVA operates direct services between Taipei and Mumbai.
