Air India has started offering passengers the ability to print their own baggage tags as part of its self-services check-in kiosks.
Effective 1 April, two kiosks in Terminal 2 at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport will offer the baggage tag service, but initially only for domestic flights to Delhi and Bengaluru.
“This will greatly assist our esteemed passengers in avoiding long queues and avail of alternate channels thus helping Air India process passengers much faster,” said the airline in a statement.
Once passengers have printed their baggage tags, they will need to report at a baggage drop counter to leave their luggage.
