Air India takes off to Birmingham

Air India launched its Dreamliner operations between Amritsar, Delhi and Birmingham yesterday (01 August).
The flight to Birmingham is the fourth Air India service from India to the United Kingdom.
The national carrier will operate four days a week operations (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) leaving Amritsar at 1030 hours, reaching Delhi at 1150 hours and continuing to Birmingham at 1330 hours.
On the return leg, the airline will leave Birmingham at 2130 hours and arrive into Delhi the next day at 1005 hours, further continuing to Amritsar at 1305 hours.
The route is set to be popular for the visiting friends and relatives market alongside holidaymakers and business travellers.
