Air New Zealand is now offering connections to multiple cities in India, following the start of a new codeshare partnership.
The national carrier has teamed up with Singapore Airlines to offer its passengers one-stop services to Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai, via Singapore. The flights connect Air New Zealand’s daily Auckland-Singapore services to SIA and SilkAir’s services between Singapore and India.
“We are thrilled to open up the market into India and will be stepping up our sales, marketing and PR efforts this year, working actively with our travel and tourism partners,” said Air New Zealand’s regional general manager for Asia, Scott Carr.
“Our daily direct flights from Singapore are a great option for India customers to connect to all of New Zealand, and a great way for them to experience with our warm and friendly Kiwi hospitality.”
Air New Zealand currently flies its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft between Singapore and Auckland. Inbound passengers can then connect to 22 domestic destinations within New Zealand.
