Air Seychelles recently restarted flights to Paris from Seychelles after a gap of two and half years. The resumed inaugural service was welcomed by a traditional water cannon salute on arrival at the Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport.
Joel Morgan, Seychelles minister for home affairs and transport and Air Seychelles Board chairman, said: “Accounting for a quarter of visitors from Europe to the Seychelles every year, France has always been a strategically important market. During the interim, we have restructured Air Seychelles to create a profitable and sustainable commercial entity.
The Airbus A330-200 aircraft will operate twice weekly services on the new route, offering 18 seats in business class and 236 seats in economy class. The flights operate with a brief stopover in Abu Dhabi.
