In a bid to strengthen its technological offerings, Air Seychelles recently announced its intent to take on Sabre Corporation.

The Company will provide a full suite of technology to support the airline’s global business as well as enhance guest experience and revenue-generating capabilities.

The agreement will see Air Seychelles move to SabreSonic to automate critical processes such as reservations, inventory, and departure control.

With the new solution, the airline will be able to further optimise daily operations, drive incremental revenues and ancillary revenue opportunities. The agreement was signed by Roy Kinnear, chief executive officer of Air Seychelles, and Shane Batt, senior vice president, strategic clients, Sabre.

The minister for foreign affairs and transport and chairman of Air Seychelles, Joel Morgan also welcomed the agreement.
