AirAsia has doubled the frequency of flights between Bangkok and Trang, the southern Thai resort destination.
Despite having only launched the route in January 2012, the low-cost carrier said that an “exceedingly positive response” to the new route had caused it to boost the service from daily to twice a day.
Flights will now depart Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport every day at 0920 and 1715, with the return service leaving Trang at 1125 and 1855. Flights take approximately one hour 20 minutes.
