AirAsia Philippines to launch HK, Macau flights
AirAsia Philippines will follow up the recent launch of its international flights with the start of services to Hong Kong and Macau.
Earlier this month, the new low-cost carrier launched daily flights from its Clark base to Kuala Lumpur, marking the low-cost carrier’s first ever international service.
On 19 July, AirAsia Philippines will boost its international route map further with the twin launch of flights to Hong Kong and Macau. These flights will offer a twice daily service to the Pearl River Delta region, with morning flights to Hong Kong and evening services to Macau.
“Just four weeks after launching our first international flight to Kuala Lumpur, we are twice excited to announce today that Philippines AirAsia will start flying out of Clark to Hong Kong and Macau on July 19. Business travellers and overseas Filipino workers will welcome these new routes while it provides tourists and shoppers exciting choices,” AirAsia Philippines’ CEO, Maan Hontiveros.
The new international routes add to the airline’s existing domestic services to Kalibo (Boracay), Davao and Puerto Princesa. All routes will be operated using AirAsia Philippines’ single-class Airbus A320 aircraft.
