AirAsia is planning to relaunch its international route from Kuala Lumpur to Hyderabad later this year.
Commencing on 8 December 2014, the Malaysian low-cost carrier will operate daily services to the Indian city, using its 180-seat, all economy Airbus A320 aircraft.
“We are very pleased to recommence the Kuala Lumpur-Hyderabad route,” said Spencer Lee, AirAsia’s head of commercial. “This route also reinforces our aim to make Malaysia one of the significant centres of low-fare travel in the region.”
Hyderabad will become the fifth Indian connection for AirAsia’s KL-based unit, after Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi and Tiruchirappalli.
