Airlines show interest in Hubli operations

Low-cost carriers SpiceJet and Pegasus Airlines have expressed their interest to operate flights from Hubli to Bengaluru and other metros. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has given a green signal after both the airlines expressed their interest to start services. K M Basavarju, Director at Hubli Airport confirmed to the Times of India that SpiceJet and Pegasus are keen to operate flights from Hubli.
“If all goes well, both these airlines may start their operations in the next couple of months. We are still holding discussions. Once they get the nod from AAI, it will take off,” Basavarju added.
