AmaWaterways is to introduce ‘Culinary delights-sights and bites’ new cooking classes, walking tours, food and wine tastings on select European river cruise itineraries.
The tours are introduced during 2012 and include the entire experiences from choosing your own ingredients to preparing regional specialities. The groups will be restricted to 20 passengers per tour and will enable passengers to explore another side of the city by visiting cooking schools, distilleries and local markets.
“Culinary connoisseurs and wine enthusiasts will fall in love with this great addition to our city tours,” said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-owner of AmaWaterways . “From cooking multi-course meals to tasting local wines, fresh artisanal cheeses and hand-crafted delicacies, our guests are exposed to a true taste of Europe and we hope it will inspire their fondest memories”.
