AmaWaterways is offering special ‘Jewish Heritage’ tours and excursions on five of its popular Danube cruises in 2012, including two on board its new 164-passenger AmaCerto which debuts this April. The new vessel incorporates the most advanced design in river cruising, with spacious staterooms featuring two balconies, a heated swimming pool and multiple dining venues.
The complimentary tours are designed to highlight the rich Jewish heritage of the Danube and include visits to Jewish districts, museums, monuments, synagogues and other landmarks of significance in Jewish history. Each tour will be led by a dedicated guide; the tours are available to all guests, regardless of their faith. The cruises pass through four countries as the Danube meanders its way through Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. The Jewish heritage cruises are available on 14 June, 26 July, 5 & 17 August and 28 October 2012. More details available www.amawaterways.co.uk
