AMResorts has seen a 21% increase in revenue for 2012 year-on-year following entrances into new destinations and property openings.
The management company, which represents Zoetry Wellness & Spa Resorts, Secrets, Dreams, Now, Sunscape and Breathless Resort & Spas, is expecting its growth to continue this year with a string of new openings in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.
It will also rebrand the Now Resorts & Spas brand and roll out the final phase of its Unlimited Connectivity programme that allows guests to access WiFi and call home for free through a mobile app.
Its growth has been pushed forward by a recent equity investment by US-based asset management firm Bain Capital into AMResorts’ parent company Apple Leisure Group.
“AMResorts is entering its next phase of growth in the hospitality market with a clear vision to further the success of the last 11 years,” said Alex Zozaya, CEO of Apple Leisure Group. “Adding more desirable destinations like Costa Rica, and looking for opportunities to develop new brands will be important in retaining brand loyalists and capturing new audiences.”
