ANA, JAL cancel more Dreamliner flights
Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA) have been forced to cancel more flights following the grounding of their Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
JAL revealed today (Monday 21 January 2013) that all its Tokyo Narita-San Diego flights would be cancelled until 28 January 2013, while all other Dreamliner flights will be switched to the B777 or B767 aircraft.
ANA meanwhile, is cancelling several international flights this week, including Tokyo-San Jose on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Tokyo-Beijing on Wednesday and Thursday, and Tokyo-Seattle on Thursday and Saturday.
ANA currently operates 17 B787s and JAL seven. It is unclear when the airlines’ Dreamliners will be able to return to service.
