Apex Hotels recently unveiled its £12 million program to refurbish its existing portfolio of contemporary hotels.
The group’s refurbishment plan starts with three of its Edinburgh Hotels – the Grassmarket, Haymarket, and Waterloo Place.
The renovation is already underway at Apex Grassmarket Hotel with the conference and events facilities being upgraded.
In other locations, the Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa in Dundee is undergoing a full bedroom overhaul. Its public areas, along with the gym and spa, will also be reinvented as part of the investment.
Furthermore, the Apex City of London Hotel will transform their existing bedrooms to better accommodate their valued guests. While the Apex Temple Court Hotel will continue its £6 mn refurbishment which includes a 20-bedroom expansion.

The announcement came shortly after the opening of the group’s tenth property in the UK, the £48.5 mn Apex City Bath Hotel, and the completion of a £1.5 mn refurbishment project at the Apex City of London Hotel.
