Archipelago International has added two more hotels to its portfolio in Indonesia.

Aston Canggu Beach Resort is a new upscale property in the shores of Bali’s Kuta area. It becomes the fourth Aston-branded hotel on the island.

The new favehotel Jayapura meanwhile, marks the budget brand’s debut in Indonesia’s West Papua region. The hotel brings 108 modern rooms and eight meeting spaces, including a 10th floor ballroom, to the city centre.

“The opening of these two hotels is another exciting step for our company, both of these properties are great examples of what our brands stand for,” said Winston Hanes, Archipelago’s director of operations. “We will continue to exceed our guest’s expectation, give a great return to our owners and an exciting work environment for our staff.”

Archipelago has ambitious expansion plans, with the aim of adding 50 new hotels over the next two years, the majority of which will be in Indonesia.
