Artotel, which operates a collection of art-inspired hotels in Indonesia, has expanded its portfolio with the launch of a new property in Bali.

The new-build Artotel Sanur is located two minutes’ walk from the beach and has an architectural style based on traditional Balinese kites. The hotel has also collaborated with five local artists, who have created a mural for each floor of the property.

The hotel has 89 rooms, all of which feature large TVs, coffee machines and free Wi-Fi. Some units also have balconies with sea views. Facilities at the Artotel include the ROCA restaurant and bar, a rooftop pool and bar, an art gallery and meeting space for up to 100 people.

“We are very glad and excited to have another property of Artotel in Sanur area, a Bali’s oldest upscale resort area and mature beachside town,” said Erastus Radjimin, CEO of Artotel Indonesia.

“We believe Sanur would be a perfect place for Artotel in delivering its unique concept for the local neighbourhood lifestyle as well as guest experience that combines contemporary art and an honest hospitality.”

Artotel Sanur becomes the company’s third property in Indonesia, following the Artotel Surabaya and Artotel Thamrin in Jakarta.
