Cambodia Angkor Air to launch Hong Kong flights

Where? Siem Reap (Cambodia) to Hong Kong
When? Twice a week, effective 29 October 2017
Who? Cambodia Angkor Air
Why? Providing a new inbound boost for Cambodia’s tourism industry, carrying Hong Kong residents to the temples of Angkor
Anything else? Cambodia Angkor Air will be the only Cambodian airline offering direct flights to Hong Kong

HK Express spreads wings in the Pacific

Where? Nagoya (Japan) to Guam (Micronesia)
When? Three times a week, effective 31 October 2017

Why? Asian low-cost carrier spreads wings to cater for Japanese outbound leisure market
Anything else? This will be the first HK Express flight not originating from Hong Kong

China Southern Airlines launches Wuhan-Manila

Where? Wuhan (China) to Manila (Philippines)

Why? Expanding bilateral trade and inbound tourist traffic from mainland China
Anything else? The capital of Hubei province, Wuhan is home to more than 10 million people

Qatar Airways expands in Vietnam

Where? Doha (Qatar) to Hanoi (Vietnam)
When? Daily, effective 1 January 2018
Who? Qatar Airways
Why? Expanding network in Southeast Asia, along with addition of more flights to Ho Chi Minh City
Anything else? This new non-stop service will operate alongside the airline’s existing daily flight to Hanoi, which operates via Bangkok
