U-Fly unveils the new branded aircraft in Chongqing

An airline alliance for Asian low-cost carriers has unveiled its own aircraft livery.

U-Fly Alliance brings together five fast-growing LCCs from North Asia – HK Express, Lucky Air, Urumqi Air, West Air and Eastar Jet – which work together to provide a regional route network and transfer capabilities.

Chongqing-based West Air, one of U-Fly’s founding members, has now become the first to paint one of its aircraft in the alliance’s livery. Other member carriers will also paint their aircraft in the alliance’s livery in future.

The initiative is similar to other airline alliances, such as Star, Skyteam and oneworld, which require their members to feature the alliance livery on some of their aircraft.
