Aston International has opened its first Favehotel in Yogyakarta.
The new budget hotel, named the Favehotel Kusumanegara Yogyakarta, is located close to the city’s Fort Vredeburg and Yogya Expo Center and features 101 rooms, all with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and air-con. Hotel facilities include meeting rooms and a café.
“Fuelled by Indonesia’s growing middle class and changing customer demographics, demand for quality budget accommodations in Central Java is on the raise. Our 200 plus rooms ‘Fave’ in Solo for example, which opened only a few months ago, is now very well established and enjoys an almost cult status with young travellers. We are confident that the Favehotel Kusumanegara, with its Fave trademark design and service, will be equally well received,” said Aston’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Norbert Vas.
The opening of the Favehotel Kusumanegara Yogyakarta marks the latest phase of the brand’s expansion. Twelve Favehotels currently operate in Indonesia and Malaysia, but the brand’s pipeline features more than 50 new hotels.
