Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas has launched new experiences, packages and trade incentives that it hopes will attract more UK visitors.

The iconic resort has introduced a new all-inclusive offering for the first time ever in the UK, which includes accommodation in Beach Tower View or Royal Towers Water View rooms and access to a many of the resort’s key attractions including the world-renowned Aquaventure water park; all marine exhibits including The Dig, daily fish feeding and marine life education; as well as the Atlantis Fitness Centre, tennis courts and Climber’s Rush.

The package also includes entry to Atlantis Theatre, gaming lessons, meals in selected venues, Wi-Fi, entertainment in Lobby Bar and Dragon’s Nightclub, entry to the Atlantis Library and pool and beach chairs with towels.

The all-inclusive deal also applies to 23 of the resorts restaurants across fine and casual dining, cafes, pool and beach side venues as well as deluxe brand alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at 21 bars across the resort.

Atlantis Paradise Island has also launched the first phase of a US$20 million transformation of the Coral Towers.

As well as rejuvenating all room products to exude a serene beach vibe and modernising the lobby experience, the resort has introduced a new adults-only pool concept, The Blu Pool, which will be reimagined by the same designer who conceived The Cove’s chic adult-only poolscape Cain at The Cove. This first phase will be complete by spring 2017.

Karen Cruitt, the resort’s vice president for leisure sales told Travel Daily UK that while the UK market was “performing better than the rest of Europe”, forward bookings for 2017 were flat.

She hoped the new packages and resort features would stimulate UK sales.

“We desperately need more airlift too,” she said. “The only direct flight out of the UK is with British Airways, which flies a Boeing 777 four times weekly from Heathrow to Nassau.

However, there were lots of options to fly via Orlando and New York, Cruitt noted.

“We have lots of good connections out of those cities are there are many opportunities to twin a stay at Atlantis with a city break on the US East Coast,” she added.

Cruitt said the resort would be offering UK trade partners “more aggressive rates and value adds and offers” to boost sales.

“We will also ensure the trade gets the best rate possible,” she added.

Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas recently extended the chance for agents to earn cash rewards per booking through its  www.atlantisbahamasrewards.com rewards programme.  Agents can earn £10 per booking for Atlantis Beach and Coral Towers, £15 per booking for Royal Towers and £25 per booking for stays at the luxurious Cove or Reef.

In addition, the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board (NPIPB) is offering all agents a £20 reward for every booking made at Atlantis, and those agents booking with Travelmood will earn a further £20.

In order to start earning, agents simply need to make a booking with a minimum four night stay and register it at www.atlantisbahamasrewards.com before 30 November 2016. Once their client has stayed, agents will receive the appropriate cash reward. All bookings made for travel up until 31 December 2017 are valid and rewards will be earned with each booking registered.
