A recent overview of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) held in Dubai suggests that the event generated over US$2 billion worth of business deals. Research conducted by Reed Travel Exhibitions revealed that ATM this year witnessed more than 2,700 exhibitors sign business deals worth more than US$2.1 bn with 23,500 visitors.
Family centric travel, which accounted for more than 12.5% of the US$1.07 trillion global tourism market, has been selected as the theme for the 2015 event.
“The WTM portfolio offers business opportunities for exhibitors where the travel and tourism industry conducts its business. ATM, WTM, WTM Latin America and WTM Africa are running successful hosted buyer programmes and exhibitors business meetings,” said Craig Moyes, portfolio director, World Travel Market.
