Expanding its current portfolio in Vietnam, Avani Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of three new properties in Ho Chi Minh, Vung Tau, and Cam Ranh.

Adding to the two Avani hotels currently operating — Avani Quy Nhon Resort and Avani Hai Phong Harbour View — Avani Hotels & Resorts seeks to strengthen its foothold in the country while building on its relationship with Novaland Group.

Scheduled for an opening at the end of 2021, Avani Saigon will be located in District 1 of Vietnam’s largest city – Ho Chi Minh, surrounded by a blend of colonial and modern architecture with street-side cafes and coffee shops. The hotel will be a 30-minute drive from the Tan Son Nhat International Airport and will be part of a 38-story mixed-use complex that includes retail shops and residences.

“A winning combination”

Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels, the parent company of Avani Hotels & Resorts said: “Vietnam is one of the region’s most dynamic economies with tremendous growth potential in both domestic and international tourism, thanks to a winning combination of cultural attractions and natural beauty. We look forward to expanding our footprint in Vietnam with Novaland Group and to creating an exceptional product for Avani guests.”

Set for the end of 2022, Avani Cam Ranh Resort & Villas is another planned property, which will sit right on the south-central coast of Vietnam. The resort will feature 300 rooms and suites, as well as 315 private villas, an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty bistro, and a beach club, while 1,200 square metres of meeting and banquet space will allow for beachfront events.

In addition, Avani Vung Tau Resort will be located in the port city of Vung Tau, just two hours by car or hydrofoil from Ho Chi Minh City. The oceanfront hotel is scheduled to open by the end of 2019 and will feature both oceanfront and hillside rooms, totalling 149 keys.

Avani currently operates 24 hotels and resorts in 15 countries and has 15 new hotels in the pipeline, including a recent signing in Kota Kinabalu, Dubai, and a second Avani in Busan.
