The Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) has entered into an exclusive partnership with Travel Daily Media, as it bids to expand globally.

Following the announcement of the UK-based association’s global expansion at the World Travel Market (WTM) in November, the AWTE has already signed up its first international members.

And to further enhance its international message, the AWTE has now formed a partnership with Travel Daily Media, which has a global portfolio of publications and a worldwide audience of travel trade professionals.

“We believe that AWTE can help a lot of women all over the world with a stronger network within their own industry, share experiences, develop themselves, confidence, skills and feel that they can do that with our support and of course get them involved wherever we can,” said AWTE chair, Debbee Dale. “The international membership is predominantly an online offering, however with more involvement in each country we hope to see chapters of the AWTE created over time.”

The partnership with Travel Daily Media comes at a time when the online travel publishing company is undergoing its own period of international expansion. Having already launched regional editions in Asia, the UK, Middle East, China and India, the company recently added Travel Daily USA to its global portfolio, whilst also relaunching its weekly cruise magazine.

Travel Daily Media will now help to showcase AWTE in these international markets, further enhancing its global membership base.

“[It’s] a great opportunity for us to spread our wings,” Ms Dale added. “We thank Gary Marshall and the team at TDM for their support and look forward to working together throughout all of these wonderful countries and beyond.”
