Azamara Club Cruises has announced plans to renovate its two ships, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest.
The two liners are scheduled to enter drydock in 2012 and 2013 respectively, where each will receive a ship-wide facelift and a new dark blue hull.
Interiors will see new carpets and upholstery, plus a new colour scheme in all public areas. All cabins will receive new mattresses and upgraded veranda furniture, while the pool decks will be resurfaced with new sun loungers and pool towels. The casino bars also will be expanded and equipped with new furniture, while the spa and fitness centres will be enhanced with a new steam room, showers and cardio equipment.
In addition, new F&B concepts will be introduced including a new caviar and champagne bar within the Aqualina restaurants, a new Chef’s Table concept, and a new range of coffees.

Azamara Quest will spend eight nights in drydock at the Navantia Shipyard in Cadiz, Spain, from 7 November 2012, following which it will sail a 13-night ‘Madeira and Canary Islands’ voyage, before departing for its South American season in December.
Azamara Journey will enter Singapore’s Sembawang Shipyard on 6 January 2013 for a seven-night drydock renovation, before continuing its Asia season with a 13-night voyage to Indonesia.
