Bahrain F1 race to welcome Covid vaccinated travellers
Vaccinated persons (after completing two weeks since taking the second dose) or Covid-19 recovered individuals (after completing two weeks since infection) can attend the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2021, being held later this month, it has been announced.
“Tickets are now available for this year’s Grand Prix weekend from 26-28 March for all vaccinated or Covid-19 recovered individuals. Tickets are on sale now at bahraingp.com with a single discounted price of BD100 across stands for the three-day event,” Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) website said.
BIC has plenty to offer fans off the track at the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2021, with a range of adrenaline-fuelled entertainment and rides as well as food and beverage offerings to complement the excitement of being present at the first race of the 2021 F1 season, it said. Fans can look forward to a wide array of fun activities at BIC’s F1 Village vending area, including a selection of wild outdoor rides and activities.
These include:
- Giant ferris wheel standing 42-metres high featuring 27 gondolas, offering fans a chance to marvel at the magnificent views from high up in the sky.
- The Reverse Bungee, a pure dose of adrenaline which hurls you straight up to the sky at rocket speed.
- A 40-metre high Konga Ride with gondolas swaying from side to side like a pendulum while spinning 360-degrees the entire time.
- The classic Wave Swinger, a favourite at theme parks around the world.
All these attractions and much more await everyone at BIC this F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, while ensuring that the event proceeds in a safe environment and in line with government health advice, said the BIC. Comprehensive measures will be put in place at the circuit to ensure spectators can enjoy the excitement of F1 in a safe environment.
