Bahwan Travel Group ties up with Sabre in Oman

Sabre Travel Network Middle East (STNME) recently signed a five-year exclusive agreement with Bahwan Travel Group in the Sultanate of Oman.

The agreement sees Bahwan Travel Group switch to Sabre accessing its technology solutions to accelerate growth. The agency will also offer Sabre’s corporate online booking tool, GetThere, to corporate in Oman.

Daniel Naoumovitch, chief executive officer, Sabre Travel Network Middle East said: “Bahwan Travel Group has a strong vision for growth and they see technology playing a key role in this. Oman is evolving as one of the most popular travel destinations of the region with a large influx of business and leisure travelers every year.”

The Bahwan Travel Group, comprises of three travel agencies and a car rental company. Elaborating further Shankar Bose, general manager, The Bahwan Travel Group, said: “Sabre’s technology will help us grow our business, be more efficient, and add customer value. With close to 200,000 travelers handled by us every year, it is imperative that we constantly improve our technologies.”
