Bangkok Airways has started offering its passengers in-flight entertainment for the first time, with the roll out of onboard iPad minis.
Effective this week, the Thai airline will start offering the small tablets to its ‘Blue Ribbon’ business class passengers. These devices will come equipped with a range of content including new-release Hollywood movies, TV programmes, music and games.
“Delivering an outstanding passenger experience is at the heart of our ethos at Bangkok Airways,” said Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, Bangkok Airways’ president. “We wanted to go an extra mile to ensure that our business class travellers’ flying experience is more pleasurable and enjoyable.”
The iPad minis will be offered free-of-charge to all business class passengers, initially on the Bangkok-Maldives, Koh Samui-Hong Kong and Koh Samui-Singapore routes.
