Bangkok Airways’ training centre receives new certification from CAAT

Bangkok Aviation Training Center (BATC) led by Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, president of Bangkok Airways and BATC’s management received a Certificate of Training Organisation Approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT).

The newly certified courses are private pilot airplane course, instrument rating course, commercial pilot airplane course, instructor pilot, refresher and re-qualification training course, airline transport pilot-airplane course (theory), ATR72 type rating and refresher training course) and Airbus 320 type rating and refresher training course.

BATC, a subsidiary of Bangkok Airways, is the first and only company in Thailand that has been appointed by IATA as an IATA regional aviation training partner.  The centre aims to raise the standard of aviation training and education in the region to a world-class international level.
