AccorHotels has opened a new beachfront Novotel on the Thai resort island of Koh Samui.
Located in the main tourist area of Chaweng, the new Novotel Samui Resort Chaweng Beach Kandaburi offers 183 rooms, including several beachfront units and 20 family rooms equipped with bunk beds.
Facilities at the hotel include three restaurants, a beach bar, two swimming pools, a spa and fitness centre. And for the MICE market the Kanda Ballroom becomes the largest meeting venue in the Chaweng area, accommodating up to 250 people.
“We are proud to introduce the first Novotel on Samui, which is recognised as one of the region’s fastest growing resort destinations,” said Patrick Basset, AccorHotels’ chief operating officer for Upper Southeast & Northeast Asia.
“The opening of Novotel Samui Resort Chaweng Beach Kandaburi offers travellers an international four-star brand known for its spacious rooms, consistently high service standards, commitment to guest well-being and modern meeting rooms, as well as reinforces AccorHotels’ commitment to development in southern Thailand.”
The new Novotel Samui Resort Chaweng Beach Kandaburi joins an existing portfolio of 15 Novotels in Thailand, with locations in Bangkok, Phuket, Hua Hin, Rayong and Chumphon.
