Liverpool attraction Beatles Story saw its busiest day since its opening last month.
The attraction saw 1,996 people visit on Saturday 27 July.
It comes as the attraction installed a new interactive green screen where visitors can be photographed with iconic Beatles-related backgrounds including Abbey Road and Lennon’s White Room. It attracts nearly 250,000 people a year.
“It’s testament to the hard work and determination of the team at Beatles Story that we continue to help inspire people from all over the world to visit Liverpool to find out more about The Beatles and Liverpool,” said spokesperson Martin King.
The attraction’s success comes after Visit Liverpool said day trip numbers to the city increased 3% to 52.13 last year, with the number of staying visitors also up 3% to 4.63m.
