Australia’s first ever Best Western Premier hotel will open its doors this month.
David Kong, President of Best Western International, will be visiting Australia in June to launch the new Best Western Premier Hotel 115 Kew, on the outskirts of Melbourne. The move marks Best Western’s entry into the upscale hotel market in Australia.
Best Western Premier properties offer enhanced facilities and services, with in-room offerings typically including flat-screen TVs and MP3 docking stations, and properties usually featuring swimming pools, restaurants and spas.
Premier is the top level of Best Western’s three-tier brand descriptor strategy, following Best Western Plus and Best Western.
“Descriptors enable better navigation of our large and diverse hotel portfolio, making it easier for business and leisure travellers to know which type of Best Western hotel is right for them,” said Kong. “We are excited to bring all of our offerings to Australia in the future.”
Best Western Premier properties are already present in several locations in Asia Pacific, including Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand.
