Booking.com speeds up hotel content loading

Booking.com has unveiled its new Content API for accommodation channel managers, content providers and property management companies.
This new connection provides free access for providers to send their property information updates to Booking.com, including photos, information and booking policies, via a direct connection.
This, according to Booking.com, will reduce the time to upload content “from weeks to hours”.
“We know that having great content is key to engaging effectively with consumers, which is not only vital to a great customer experience, but allows our partners to generate more incremental business via our platform,” said Remco van Zanten, Booking.com’s global director of partner services.
“That’s why we’ve created a scalable solution that helps PMCs and other providers list dozens or even thousands of properties on Booking.com more quickly and at no cost.”
Booking.com also recently launched a dedicated platform for travel agents.
