Travel agents earned more than GBP7,000 in Love2Shop vouchers in Bourne Leisure’s summer incentive, the company has announced.

The ‘Sweet Summer Giveaway’ generated a 16% increase in trade sales for Warner Leisure Hotels during July to September year-on-year, while Haven saw a 5% boost and Butlins sales were up 4%.

Agents earned vouchers for every booking and were also entered into prize draws. One agent earned GBP245 worth of vouchers after accumulating 49 bookings.

“Bourne Leisure’s properties represent the quintessential British seaside holiday therefore a retro sweet hamper giveaway along with the popular Love2Shop vouchers was the perfect way to help agents promote our great British summers,” said Louise Tansey, national sales manager at Bourne Leisure.

She added: “As the figures demonstrate, all three of Bourne Leisure’s brands continue to increase in popularity which is down to the continued investment we put back into every property coupled with the support, incentives and training we provide our agent friends to ensure Butlins, Haven and Warner remain front of mind when it comes to booking a UK break.”
