Brussels Airport will remain closed on Thursday and Friday, officials have confirmed.
The Belgian hub has been shut down since the terrorist attack on Tuesday morning, which is now known to have killed 11 people. A further 20 people died in the attack at Maelbeek metro station.
“Following these attacks, there will be no passenger flights into and out of Brussels Airport today, tomorrow Thursday 24 March and Friday 25 March,” the airport said in a statement on Wednesday.
“Because the forensic investigation is still underway, we currently have no access to the building. Until we can assess the damage, it remains unclear when we can resume operations.”
Passengers are advised to check with their airline regarding the cancellation and rebooking of flights.
