The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) announced it has named Bruce Hanna as regional director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in ACTE. In this role, he will be responsible for collaborating with ACTE global members and partners as the organisation works to bring the best in education and networking opportunities to the corporate travel industry worldwide.

“Bruce brings over 20 years of truly international experience to the position, with specialised expertise across Europe, the Middle East and Africa,” said Leigh Bochicchio, executive director of ACTE.

Hanna has more than two decades’ experience in sales, account management, leadership and operations, working with a variety of organisations to spearhead global change management efforts and support strategic customer relationship initiatives, among other accomplishments.

“I have always had a strong desire about building relationships, leadership and education,” he said. “I’m eager to make a meaningful contribution at ACTE, which will allow me to give back to an industry that has given me so much.” He is based out of Belfast, Northern Ireland and also serves as a business mentor for The Prince’s Trust in Northern Ireland, where he helps young people become entrepreneurs.
